| 17/8/2009 | Hi All Its been a while since my last entry, however been recovering from an accident on the first Ironman where someone clipped the front wheel of my bike at 45kmph and I went down injuring my shoulder and colar bone not to mention all the road rash and so on. I have been recovering over here before heading back to a rescheduled second ironman in the gym. Thanks for your ongoing support, will post a picture of me crossing the line after running!!!!! the marathon with my arm in a sling. Pete |
| 22/6/2009 | Well after an extremely wet 6hr ride on saturday, sunday turned out much better to knockout the 30km run I had to do. Spare me a laugh when I turned up to North Sydney Olympic Pool yesterday afternoon to swim 2km in a wetsuit, I turned a few heads. |
| 22/6/2009 | I was watching the ESPN coverage of Ironman New Zealand yesterday, I took away that everyone has a story to tell and hurdles to overcome but the important thing is to have the chance to overcome them. This is what this event is all about, giving these kids and future generations the chance to overcome there hurdles and create there own story without being set back a few pegs before hand. Pete |

| 9/6/2009 | Hi All, the long weekends training is all done legs are shot after 200+ k's on the bike saturday and 40km run on Sunday. Have a good week and will keep you all updated on whats happening. |

| 1/6/2009 | The weekend training session was completed, with 7hrs of riding and running in the rain saturday and 4hrs on Sunday split between the bike and run (at least it wasnt as wet) |
